Gangstering it up in the new Angelina Jolie movie. |
Awesome outfit. My acting is up there with other pieces of teak, birch or mahogany. A throwback to an early Jason Donavon I sometimes reflect upon. A natural and heavy rigidness that belongs to an assortment of concretes I am in my grace, impenetrable and intense like a brick. Or 3 or 4 bricks on top of each other. With mortar, mortar as the metaphor for physicality I bring to a role, the impression of remaining still, stoic, fixed and as a result completely rooted as an actor and left out of most scenes. If there's a shot of a piece of wood, then there's a demand for me. It's easy to get into the flow when your a method extra like me. The Golden Globes and the Oscars are waking up to a new category this year, it's one that needs more recognition to be quite frank. 'The award for 'best unused, on multiple times and completely shunned by all, best underrated method extra' goes too...dah dah... that bloke asleep at the luncheon table. Why is he stashing all that food in his pockets??
